Privacy Policy

SentinelFlock (“we”) provides website, API, and synthetic monitoring. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Questions: support@sentinelflock.com.

Information we collect

  • Account data — your email address and a securely hashed password (bcrypt); we never store passwords in plain text.
  • Monitoring configuration — the URLs, endpoints, and checks you set up. Test credentials and API keys you provide for transaction/API monitors are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and are never displayed back to you after saving.
  • Monitoring results — response codes, timing, error reasons, and, for browser checks, page screenshots and JavaScript errors from the pages you asked us to monitor.
  • Billing data — handled by Stripe; we store a Stripe customer/subscription identifier, not your card number.
  • Usage & analytics — basic activity (sign-ins, page views, key actions) and aggregate analytics via Google Analytics to understand and improve the product.

How we use it

To run your monitors and deliver alerts, authenticate you, process payment, provide support, secure the service, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We share data only with processors that run the service: Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Twilio (SMS), Neon (database), Vercel (hosting), and Google Analytics (analytics). Each processes data on our behalf under its own terms.

Data retention

Check history is retained according to your plan (30 / 90 / 365 days). Account and configuration data is kept while your account is active and for up to 60 days after cancellation, after which it is deleted.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and stored credentials are encrypted at rest. Access to your account requires authentication, and our monitoring probes are constrained to public internet targets only.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data by emailing support@sentinelflock.com. You may opt out of analytics via your browser or a Do-Not-Track/consent tool.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
